New to the forum or any forum for that matter so please forgive me. Tank is a couple of months old - 75g . I'm on the tail end of cycling with live rock from TBS (Gulf). Still waiting for confidence on stable conditions (parameters are good, but think going thru ugly stage diatoms/red algae). I have only purchased CUC (snails, blue legged hermits, sea cucumber and peppermint shrimps). All other critters are hitchhikers including numerous nuisance crabs, natural snails/hermit crabs and so so more such as a few phyllangia Americana soft corals, sponges and etc However this little guy caught my attention. He hangs out daily in "daylight" on this piece of algae apparently filter feeding in a high flow area. Probably takes up an area of a dime. Seems very crab like, but the appendages he has (to filter feed??) reminds me of my sea cucumber. This is three best picture I could get. I was thinking possibly faking me out and a decorator crab?
