Sorry if lashes is not the correct word but what does it mean if the lashes are super curly? Other zoas in the tank are normal. It does look cool I did not know if they where telling me something and I am not picking up on it.
Thanks

Were they curly when u bought them?
Some do curl more than others but that seems overkill right there....

It just depends on the typical polyp, nothing to worry about. Some zoas and palys can differ with stalk/eyelash sizes. Seeing that your entire colony looks the same then I'd say it's just the way they are.

They are supposed to be basic rainbow infusion zoa. Because of the placement I can’t get a clean shot of them. They only started getting Curley about 2 months ago. My zombie, purple monster, utters, and alpha and omega are normal and I can’t find a reading out of line when I test everything but trace

Zoas are crazy, I'd have some loose the length of the eyelashes in high flow but some would actually produce a longer stalk.

Yeah, I have some in higher light that have long stalks while next to them others are hugging the rockwork. I wish I understood their behavior. The only thing I know for sure is that a healthy zoa/paly is one that is actively spreading and growing. Even color changes don't mean much.
