Hi. I currently have the Current Orbit Marine LED. I don't believe mine has the lenses. I would like to encourage coral growth. I currently have the settings at 50% blue and 100% white for about 12 hrs a day. I went with this setting because that was what looked best to me.

What should my settings be at for growth? Also I have a 36" dual T5 fixture. Can I add that onto the tank? If so which dual bulb combo, along with my LED's would be best?

Leave those settings. Those leds won’t add much to the tank.
One of those at full is about the same as one t5 tube.
The t5 will pretty much completely overpower the fixture.

I went with 2 b+ and 2 c+ with that same set up.
You could swap one c+ for a p+.
Should come out pretty close.

I'm sorry, can you explain what you mean 2b+, 2c+ etc.?

The bulb names, 2 of the blue plus, 2 Coral plus, p+ is purple plus. These are all made by ATI

.

As Salty said - they are not that intense. I have the 18-24" fixture on a 20 gallon long quarantine tank and once measured the par for another member. Keep in mind this tank is only 12" deep; a 24" deep tank would probably be registering only 20 PAR or so at the bottom:

"Light is mounted on the accessory arm, so its 4" above the water. Measurement taken full intensity,; all colors at 100%. PAR meter is an Apogee MQ-210 on the electric light mode.

At the water's surface: 480 PAR

3" below the water: 170 PAR

12" below the water: 90 PAR"

Thanks all. So can you recommend which of those 2 bulbs would be best in my t5 fixture that goes well with my LED'S?

I have the Orbit IC with a 2 bulb T5. For the IC I set (in daytime) 90% Blue, 60% white, and 15% each red and green. In the T5 I have the ATI Blue Plus bulb and a Coralife Actinic. I just added the T5s last week and my corals exploded! I'm still experimenting but I like the bluer look with the actinic b/c it seems to mimic slightly deeper water and really makes the corals glow day and night. The fish might have slightly weird colors but I think the trade-off is worth it. I don't want 10K pop.
