Current IC Loop and Bluetooth

I wanted to start a thread on a lower cost set up. I use the Current IC Loop and Bluetooth in my 135 gal tank. I have two 72 inch lights and the return pump and one power head in my sump. I also use two icecap 300 gyres, cranked all the way down. I have seen many, and I mean many, people say the Current lights won’t grow corals and you are better off spending the money on The expensive lights. I’ve been running this tank since December 2017 and after a long cycle, have nothing but praise for this system. I have mostly softies, zoas, mushrooms, acans and torches. Just starting on “harder” corals. I’ve had good growth on all of my corals. Bottom line, if you want in this hobby, you can still do it without spending thousands on your lights!

Also love the loop system mine is currently the 2100 gph eflux wavemaker and the 1050 dc return with a random flow generator on a 40b.
Simple tap of my phone i can turn off for a wc or dial up to stir detritus. Using AI lights not the current one.

Nice looking tank, I have been wondering also have the loop system. How is the bluetooth been thinking about getting it does it let you do more then you can from the remote?

I find it easier to set than the remote. Also gain another thermometer. If you have a speaker weather effects have sounds like thunder for a storm.

Nice I am running the ic pro lights 48" with two 1050 wave makers. Planning on adding a bluetooth module. I also added an orphek OR120 UV bar between the two ICs. Mounted beautifully to the current USA tank mounts
