Not the best photos

I use the Nova Extreme pro 48" Run 4 actinics, 2 fiji, 2 10k's. Has four LED moonlights, and two fans. Unit is cool quiet and IMO very well priced. First one had to be returned.

I am just getting the basic w/o lunar lights. And gonna use stock bulbs (poor teen) for now. Why did 1st one have to be replaced?

There's a 4 x 39w Nova Extreme (the original version, not the Pro) on the 50g (36" x 18" x 20") here in my office. Sorry, as I don't have any pix, but we keep chalices, zoas / palys, and rics on the bottom just fine. I will say that the corals in the tank started looking and growing better once we switched out the stock bulbs for some UV and ATI brand bulbs.

I run the 6x39 over my 40 breeder and really like the light. All of my corals, including sps are very colorful and I am really able to customize the look with 6 bulbs. I think you will really be happy with it!

Ditch the stock bulbs and pick up some ATI bulbs and you will be good to go. :xd:

Well the tank won't be set up for another 2 months or so. And I am trying to get some supplies that is on sale. The light is $320 shipped. And I found an Mp10 for $158 shipped. And that is just about all my Birthday and savings lol. But I am in the process of getting my 1st job to pay off the rest of the equipment, so maybe I will just run the stock bulbs for a month, then get a pay check and get some ATI's or Geisemann's or UVL's or a combo with some of all 3.
Here is what I was thinking about atm:
Front
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue Special
ATI Blue Plus
UVL 10000k Aquasun
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue Special
Back

This is a tank with the same bulb combo as above (not sure what order). But it's a 48" fixture.

Anythoughts?
