Hello Reefers! I have recently picked up a Nuvo 40 AIO, and I need light suggestions. I'm currently running two Current Orbit Marine lights on my 40 breeder. (Which I'm switching to the Nuvo). One light is a 24" and the other is a 36". The 36" won't fit, but the other one will on the Nuvo. Do y'all have any other recommendations on lights? Or should I just grab another 24"? I do have corals in my tank. I'd like to stick with the current due to having the wavemaker already, but I will switch if I find a perfect fit. Peep my new beauty!

Lots of high end options. If you like the Current though not a bad light, especially the Pro. 18" depth you can get away with duals. Might be limited to lower light corals... softies, most LPS and some forgiving SPS higher in tank.

There was a time that I had the first gen Current Orbit and dual T5’s with coral plus and true actinic bulbs on my Nuvo 40.
I would get the 24” aquatic life fixture then put the Current in the middle, may need some diy since the fixture is only made w/certain lights to fit like Ai prime/Kessil.

Thanks for the response. The pro version is just two light fixtures put together... correct?

We bought the 18" - 24" IC Pro (two light strips) and just ordered BRS's PAR meter rental. We'll be taking measurements soon and will be posting the results.

The lights are over a Fluval 13.5 so depth readings will be limited to 12"...

One feature that we are having fun with is the weather simulations!!! The rolling clouds, I must admit are pretty awesome!

I literally just place an order for the Kessel 360X. I could get past the shimmer! Hopefully my husband doesn't notice 0.0

would love to see your par readings. I have the same tank and recently got those lights.
