So I have my list of goods. Going to set up 2 10 gallon tanks this weekend and should be adding a couple of fish sometime next week. Here's the list I plan on running through it over the next several months. DT is 150 reef tank. Are there any that I shouldn't mix?

-1 Fox Face Rabbitfish
-1 Bristletooth Tomini Tang
-1 Yellow tang
-1 Naso Tang
-1 Yellow Tang
-1 Purple Tang
-1 Blue Tang
-6 Clowns
-2 Algae Blennies
-1 Lawnmower blennies
-1 Midas Blennies
-6 Cleaner Wrasse
-1 Regal Angelfish
-1 Green Mandarin
-1 Yellow Watchman Gobys
-1 Pistol Shrimp

6 cleaner wrasse? not saying its wrong, just curious?
I personally never had a Naso I liked...but that just IME
6 clowns might be tricky ...I got 2 Black Saddlebacks, 2 perculas and 2 platinum percs to work but good luck
thats kind a lot of fish for a 150 but i’m no Tang police....

I wouldn't add a Naso to the tank because they can get very large and aggressive. 6 cleaner wrasses will all kill each other off. That many tangs may also fight

Thats a lot of Tangs. IMO you are probably better off with the bristletooth and one of the zebramosa tangs.
6 clowns seems like a lot to me, but maybe in a 150 they’ll have enough room kinda have doubts though.
I also doubt 3 algae blennies coexisting well here.
Cleaner wrasses from my understanding are probably better left in the ocean, not very suitable for captivity but YMMV.
Everything else checks out.

also its good to see another Frisco resident here on the forums!

Thanks for all the feed back. The only reason I said multiple on some of them is because I like the idea of small schools of fish but I don’t really know if it works. I agree on the Tangs. I will narrow them down. There all so cool. Or, maybe I need to build a larger tank. Lol. Thanks again.

Your build looks nice! :) I wish I had the tank size to include at least some of these fish. I’d love a tang or two or a Foxface.

However, I would suggest narrowing down the list of tangs a bit (the Foxface is a relative of the Tangs) because tangs and that Foxface are all big bioload fish that will exert heavy pressure on your ecosystem.

I agree with what has been said. Perhaps stick to some of the hardier Tangs of the Zebrasoma genus and other than that, just the Kole?

I’n not sure how keeping more than a pair of clowns in a tank would work, but maybe it could be fine if there’s enough space. The rest of your list looks good to me.

I narrowed it down. As for the wrasse, I just wanted a couple of small schools (6ish) of fish. The clowns would be one of the schools. I wanted the blue damsels for the other school but someone told me they would kill everything.

6 Clowns may or may not school together like you would want. Most saltwater fish that we can keep in our tanks don't school together and the ones that may are a hit or miss. The Naso will probably outgrow the 150 gallon

I would also echo the opinions on the Naso. I would remove it from the list. If you are looking for school of smaller fish, you could get 6 (1 male, 5 female) Lyretail Anthias. They don't always school together, but they are active, colorful, and the easiest of the Anthias.

Anthias are a good idea

Neither wrasse or clowns school in aquarium, or in the wild. Depends on the wrasse species, most can just have 1 specimen per species, a minority of the wrasses can be keep in group if you set it up certain way. 6 clowns will not do well long term in a 150 gal. Damsel will not school either. You may want to keep one or two, but I recommend not more than 2.
Foxface, even Foxface Lo, the smallest of the Foxface will get borderline too big for a 150. IMO they get too big but a few reefers with experience will disagree. Blue tang is similar to Foxface in term of size.
Yellow tang is OK for your tank, but Naso is definitely not OK for a 150.

I think you are going to have too many big fishes for your tank.

Thank you for all the feedback. I’ll remove the Naso, and change to 2 clowns. Also, thanks for the Anthias feedback, I’ll try them. Now I gotta figure out what order.

Of the larger fishes, the Regal Angel go in first by a long shot. He need to be comfortable and eating well before any other large fish come in. Regal is not one of the easiest fish to get established, the Blue tang and Foxface next then the Yellow tang last. Clowns, Anthias, Cleaner, Mandarin can go in anytime. The Blennies should go in at the same time. Obviously the shrimp and Watchman should go in at the same time. Are you sure you want both Midas and Algae Blennies?
Consider some wrasses If you have a sand bed, consider a Melanurus Wrasse and or Leopard wrasse. They will compete with the mandarin for food but good pest control. Consider a few Flasher and Fairy wrasse. They are the crow jewel of my reef.

These are a few of my wrasses. Some of them are not anywhere near mature yet. My tank is a 320 DT so I have much more room for fishes than you.
