So I just got this system and can customize the percentage of Red Green Blue and White. What percentages to you use for optimal health and growth of soft corals? (Currently have multiple photosynthetic gorgs and a few zoa polyps

Following. Own this light set myself. Starting the cycle this weekend.

I am currently running 80 blue, 25 white and 20 on the red and green. When I try to bump up the blue and white my corals are unhappy

I have had these lights for over a year. I have played with them and what works for a long time now. I found them to be very weak personally. I have the "pro setup" with 2 strips and supplement my white light with 2 kessil a160w's. I run my currents at 100% blue , 40% red 20% green and 15% white. These act as my atinics. Then use my kessils on 100% color and slowly ramp them up and down in the day.

I guess I am kind of confused here. Why does it seem like no one runs these lights at full power on all light channels? The party readings given for these lights are based on the lights being at 100%, correct? I would think running these lights at such low levels would drastically reduce par output.

I have the standard orbit marine LED on my 36gal bowfront at 100% white and blue, and my corals look great.

Alternatively I have the orbit marine IC on my 28g nano cube, white blue red and green all at 100%. Stylophora, mushrooms, plate coral, and one of my zoa colonies all look great, but can't say the same for ANY acans or my lobo.

Thoughts?

I have the ic pro dual lights set at 7 inches above water. I run blue 100, white 40 or 50, green and red 40-50. Haven't got a lot of coral and am slowly ramping up. So far all is happy. Had about a month now

Any updates on those with Marine Orbit Pro lights? How are your corals doing? I’m curious as to how things are going three months later.

I’m thinking of purchasing the Marine Orbit IC Pro for my 45 gallon tall tank, but I’m afraid it won’t be strong enough.

My tank dimensions are 36 x 12 x 24

I’m curious to know how the pro is doing also I have the basic orbit marine in my 36g bow. I have a green polyp leather, neon green hammer, lunar eclipse zoa, and a scrambled egg zoa. They’re doing fine. But I know the light isn’t enough. I bought a 165w mars aqua with a custom made stand 8” above the tank. I didn’t like how the light looked and didn’t like it above the tank either. So I was thinking of an orbit marine pro or a 30” coralife lunar aqua light

I have two 48 inch LED strips of the current marine orbit pro. I currently have blues at 90 and white at 35. I have zero green and red (mostly to reduce algae growth). I think they are great for lps and softies, for sps, I think they are too weak. I ended adding 2 T5 bulbs to supplement and it seems to be growing most sps. I plan on slowly ramping the blues to 100 and white to 40.
