Current USA LOOP Marine Pro

@saltyfilmfolks what is gear? No objection to used-but would want to be sure I'm not being scammed

@Samina I did see reviews on the 660's that said they weren't very powerful. For a six foot tank I'll go the largest. I can always get 2 powerheads and add 2 more of the jebao ones as well and sync them together . Or do 3 and 1 separate. I'd planned on 4 powerheads total.

so the question is:
Go with the current orbit pro system of powerheads and return--a bit more expensive only on the ph's including pro lights
Go with jebao ph's (4 for 110.00) and the jabao dc return pump and pro lights
Used gear , Lights pumps tools etc.
some folks really don’t like it.

ah, I was thinking maybe it was a "site" that specialized in "gear"
Lol, no. I wish. I generally avoid Craigslist, and Facebook. I do eBay and have bought stuff here cuz you have pay pal protection and pretty often the members are well known and won’t scam ya cuz they like it here too.

Fwiw, here are the par specs form current. With my own tests and other users here on R2r. they are pretty actuate.

Most do reccomend a 100 on the sand a little less wont hurt at all if your looking at some low light corals.
It won’t support clams on the sand if that’s somthing your thinking about.

thanks @saltyfilmfolks I'm looking at those lights but would need 2 of the 32's. Don't think the 50 he has would work. I'll keep an eye on his post though. Light budget isn't until March . Getting pumps and wavemakers in Feb first.

I recently purchased the 72 in pro led lights from current . I have them on a 125 gallon reef tank . I am a novice to Saltwater tanks but can tell you that I am extremely happy with the lighting system . It has a lot of capabilities & I find it To be very user friendly .

so far, I'm happy with mine. Debating lowering them down to the 3 or 5 inch and easing off on intensity if needed. Also still trying to figure out how much white to use. Have 100% blue, 50 red and green and 65 white.

Any new review or status on your lights?
I have Current IC Pros and run 100 blue 45 red and green and 50 white. I really like the bluetooth add on controller too.

So far I'm happy. Might adjust the lights a bit more. Haven't lowered the lights yet.
I have mine on the lowest bracket about 5-6 inches from the water. Still a young tank and have a few soft, a few LPS and one trail Monti Cap. How are your corals reacting to your lights? Good growth?

Still working on the tank . I have a lot of soft corals that seem to do extremely well. I am trying sps & lps frags now on a magnetic rack at about midway up the tank wall . I posted a pic of my tank & intend to get a thread going with the progress .
