soft yes but anything elese needs 2 or the pro or the new ic pro

I doubt it, i have these on a fowlr. The leds are .25 watts each, for proper penetration and intensity the leds should be at least 1 watt each.

I am going to say absolutely yes. Because I have the Current Orbit Marine Pro on the mounting arm, 6” over the my 30G Half-Moon . That puts it at a total, 32” to the SB. In the little over 2 months that I’ve been running these lights, I have had tremendous coral growth. I have a lot of the corals that you are wishing to keep.

I am totally new to the salty side of this hobby. So by no means am I an expert lol. But I can only tell you this, based on what I have seen firsthand so far. Day in and day out, my corals have great PE and growth. Duncan has sprouted 2 new heads in a little under months time. Hammer has 1 new branch. Both Torches have shown great growth. And the Chalice, on my sandbed, has shown beautiful color variation and growth in about a months time.

So good luck in whatever lighting you choose to go with. Just thought I’d share my personal experience with this particular lighting!

We have that light (24") on a nano and it grows everything, even SPS but it's very shallow. On a 54 gallon corner, it's gonna be tough. Softies will do fine as with other low light corals. For the money though, I'd still recommend a black box.

I would agree with you, except he is not asking about the pro, hes asking about the regular model. I had that model, and its good for less light demanding species at best. Not a great choice for corals

Hmmm.. ok. Maybe I’m wrong then about what I have. It just says “Ramp Timer Pro” “Orbit Marine LED” so maybe I don’t have the PRO. This fixture cost me $115.98 on Amazon. It seemed to me he was looking for the exact same fixture, only a longer size. Here are a few pictures

Yeah, thats not the Pro. They may both use the same ramp timer. The Pro is $500-$800+ depending on length

Ok cool, then I stand corrected lol. So just out of curiousity, in regards to my original response, shouldn’t/wouldn’t he be ok with the fixture he’s looking at? Being that I have, and am successfully keeping said corals?

if you are getting good results, thats awesome. That light is not meant for coral growth specifically. I may be able to support corals, mushrooms, etc that have low light requirements and are a fairly close distance from the light source. I would not recommend buying that light for coral growth.
