Which one is better? The Pro or w/ the Loop IC controller ?

I was wondering because I can get the Loop IC for $175 and the Pro for $180.

Since it’s only a $5 difference, I’d go with the pro which would give the option down the road to have some softies/lps and possibly some sps if you choose to.

Since you are doing a fish only tank, either light will work just fine. The 'light' just isn't that important to the fish and either of these fixtures can grow coral in shallow tanks (not really powerful enough for coral in tanks much deeper than 16" to 18"). That said, look at the controls that each fixture offers and decide which one best suits your needs as a human who looks at the tank and don't worry about the fish.

It's been a while since the last post, but the IC would include the power head controller and a power head, the IC Pro would be the bluetooth controller and 2x LED lights.
