So what's the best settings for growing acros and Montipora's with the current USA marine orbit led? I have (2) 48" mounted above my tank. What Red, Green, Bue and White settings to use?

Not to upset you but the light alone does not have the power for SPS unless they are in the top 3” of your tank. They are great to add sunrise sunset but the PAR level is way to low for sps and most lps.

I tend to agree with the depth being a big factor.

Can they grow SPS?- Absolutely. This was my original tank being lit by an 18 & 24” Orbit LED strips.

But as Hitman said, these lights were 5” off a shallow tank. I suppose it depends on how high your rock structure is.

Okay thank you. I have tons of Zoas, frogs pawn, hammer, torch, acans, goniopora and favias but wanted to try monti's or acros.

Hi all, new here looking for basically this same question. I calculated par in my 22” deep tank with these lights and the math suggests there is plenty of par down to about 18”. When you say too low for sps and lps what is your basis for that? We have an acan and hammer that were looking pretty bad, turned the colors and white down to 20 -30 and the corals are starting to recover. Curious the thoughts here?

Sps I believe the magic number is 300+? I believe that's what WWC runs their tanks at
