Current USA Pro owner, what settings do you use on your light?

How bright did you set for the daytime setting? I set mine max except White only 50%. Will that affect corals growth? What settings would be best? Mine is a softies tank with only one Birdsnest frag. Thanks.

I have the 72" Dual Orbit IC PRO led - 100% blue 25% red 25% green 30% white. I have a mixed LPS/Soft reef - with a few birdsnests like you. Nice kit - super easy programming and nice features., but I plan on swapping it out this weekend to 3x165watt black boxes. I feel I could get better growth, but that's another story.

Thank you sir. May I ask why you set 25 25 100 30? Just appealing to the eye or it's beneficial for corals?

I agree it's super nice to program. But I'm also on a budget so can't afford other lights. How much are the black boxes you're getting?

Do you have the IC version? If yours are not IC than they are stronger. You might not need to get different lights. The IC version has less wattage. 100% blue 50% white is a good setting color wise as long as your tank isnt really deep.

The one I have is IC Pro, that means 2 lights. The 2 light combo has the strongest light from what I've read.

There is the current orbit pro and the current orbit ic pro. Either can use the loop and have 2 lights but they are different in wattage and bulb color.
