I put a bubble maggus curve 5 in my 20 gallon sump on 56 gallon column tank a couple weeks ago. Took a few days to dial it in. It is sitting about 9.5 inches deep. I Was getting great dark thick skimmate after a few days. Been that way for a couple weeks until today i unplugged it and did a 5 gallon water change. Now it is overflowing like crazy. No epoxy or anything was added . Any suggestions?

My curve 7 does this sometimes also. I dail it back and adjust it. I also catch the skimmate in a seperate, large container fulltime.
Would be nice to find a solution.

I found that the sweet spot on my BM Curve 5 was at the lowest setting on my Trigger systems Sapphire 26 sump which was at 7.5 inches and had it dialed in at like 2 or 3. Just make sure your water level is stable, dial it in and you shouldn't have any issues with it.
