Hello- saw one today and it reminds me of my Black ghost knife fish when I had FW.
Any info with this Cusk eel? It has nice color yellow in person. Thanks!

From what I understand, they are very shy and won’t be seen much in the Home aquarium

Shy is an understatement, you have more chance of seeing the lock Ness monster than one of these guys in the average aquarium. You hear stories of people only seeing them on the first day they go in and then the surprise when the tank is broken down years later.
I was given a couple for a seahorse tank where i worked as they are live bearers and I thought it might be a fun project, plus i thought they were cool. I'd guess they are still in there somewhere as they seem hardy.

If you like the colour a Canary blenny, yellow halichoeres or midas blenny are much better options for a normal tank.
 
Agreed with the info provided. They disappear when added to a tank, even a relatively small one.
