So after having to break down my first (and only) reef after only a few months up and running back a few years ago I am back at it. There is a huge "if" being put on this aquarium by my wife and here's why. I am a truck driver so it goes to say I am not home very much generally one day a week. She is not a big fan of maintaining my aquariums but does it anyway sorta 
. She does the best she can and I can't complain about that. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't even be able to do the hobby that I love.
So here are what my plans are.
Due to this being a huge "maybe" I didn't want to invest much money into it so that meant a nano tank. With me being a truck driver with a wife that's not fond of aquarium maintence.I need this aquarium to be as hands off as I can get it. So I will need to keep the aquarium lowly stalked and easy to maintain equipment for time savings. Here is my thoughts on equipment and tank (subject to change of course).
Tank: Custom 11g acrylic cube
Stand: DIY
Light: Kessel A80 or AI prime
Filtration: Finnex hob refugium
Livestock: Two or three fish at the most and a small clean up crew
Corals: Softies only, something that does not need hand feeding
Extra Equipment: MP10, ATO
I have made the stand already and ordered the finnex filter along with the dry rock. I think this is the best set up on a budget I can come up with. As always suggestions and advice are always welcome. After all I am still very wet behind the ears when it comes to saltwater aquariums. I am not in a hurry to get this aquarium to a full blown reef so patience is on my side. I will warn everyone this is a build that will be slow going due to my time restrictions but I will try to interact with the posts on my thread as frequently as I can. Well I think that is a good start to the thread so everyone wish me luck. I will post a pic as soon as I can.
