Looking at doing a custom acrylic tank on a future build, but having a doozy of a time finding tank builders online...

Those of you with custom acrylic tanks (that you're happy with) - who did you use? (website would also be helpful!)

Fishtanksdirect.com

Acrylic has gone up quite a bit in price lately. More demand for COVID related safety shields I'd imagine. Have been very happy with my tank (now over 3 years old).

I built acrylic tanks for over 30 years up to 16' long. Send me a request via PM and I can get a quote together for you. You could check with Reynolds in Colorado for a quote if you are looking for a tank over 1000 gallons.

After doing a lot of research I went with Midwest Custom for my tank, stand w/canopy. Great quality and reasonably priced. Took a bit longer that expected. Midwest is a small mfg and a big job in NY city and the catch up added about a month to my job. Very pleased with the final product and shipment prep.

James Steele makes amazing acrylic tanks too. He's in Oregon. Great guy too.

I'm expecting my custom acrylic tank any day now.... (sorry, can't say that with a straight face....)
I placed my order September 4th. I keep hearing soon....
My tank is from Americanaquariums.com in Pennsylvania.
The process has been long but I'm hopeful it will be here this month.

AcrylicCreations in PA "We warranty our tanks 25 years on a steel Stand."

Oh dear ... I just ordered one from them. Should I treat the 10–12 weeks of lead time with some skepticism?

Tiny little thing ..... 63” x 20” x 24”. There are, BTW, at least three companies that use some variation of ‘American aquarium’.

Still in business? Website seems dead.
