Custom AIO

I have decided to create my own AIO out of a 40 breeder. That being said, I can make the compartments what ever size I want.

What would be the best/recommend HOB skimmer?

I would go with an appropriately sized aquamaxx unit, I've also heard some of the Reef Octopus HOB units are pretty good as well.

I think it would be pretty cool to make a 40 breeder AIO but peninsula style.

I would have to check the width of a 40 breeder but make the baffles the same size as some of the custom inTank media baskets, and utilize those.

Media tower, into fuge section, into skimmer into return.

I figured i would save some money by making them out of left over acrylic from the weir and baffles (though im thinking glass is better for the baffles probably). That is a good idea though, ill have to look into what they've got.
I was also toying with the idea of making a rail system for the baffles so that they can be removed for easier cleaning.

Hmm looking at what aquamaxx has to offer, i like the profile of the ws-1. Might go with that one.
