Hi! Im planning on getting a new tank. Currently i have a cvue 40g 36x18x15. Its an aio with massive back chambers. Now as we all know we always need a bigger tank right. I have the tank on a 48x19x30 stand rated till 90g tank. I want to get an aio since sump is not an option for my stand. I ve got a quote for 48x19x21 80g starphire tank.
My dilemma is that i dont want to use the back wall for sump are. I was thinking of just doing a center back sump of 36lx4.5x21. Now should my aio wall should be 48l meaning i should use the whole back for the sump? I was thinking if i did 36long sump area ill do both corners a wrap around overflow grill. Now im a little worried that when i turn my power off it will overflow my sump. Or is it going to be fine?
