Is anyone familiar with a reputable glass aquarium maker? Looking in the Carolinas.

The closest one I know of to you is in Tennessee. Glasscages.com

My husband had a glass business for many years before he retired. When I say "glass" I mean glass for big buildings. He says that any local business like that, that does big commercial glass work, can make you a custom aquarium as long as you aren't asking for curved glass.

Not that close to carolinas but http://coasttocoastaquariums.com

I didnt go with them as my budget decreased but all of the work i have seen of them looked fantastic.
Thanks! I am just trying to weight my options. I have haven’t had a tank in a few years but I can’t wrap my head around spending 11k for Red Sea and everything that goes with it.

If going with a custom aquarium builder for price the above glass cages is your best bet. Most others will probably be quite a bit more than a comparable volume to a red sea reefer tbh.

A competitor to red sea to look at would be cad lights. Slightly cheaper. No first hand experience to say comparable quality.

I bought a custom tank from AGE (Acrylic and Glass Exhibits). They are in Texas, but the tank was much less expensive than the East Coast tank builders I contacted. The tank is also built like a tank. Pun intended.

Crystal Dynamics is on the west coast, so idk what shipping would be. But its another option and they have some nice packages with tank, stand, sump, and plumbing.

isnt there also planet aquarium in texas too? i have an oceanic 130 im about to set up and that tank and stand is built like dang abrams tank.

i could be wrong but my main understanding of custom tank/builder, they typically cost more than equivalent non custom tanks. so if budget is part an issue i would look at deep blue, aqueon, marine land, or innovation marine.

Deep blue has what looks like a nice rimless 80. Innovation marine has released quite a few tanks with external and internal overflows that look nice.

I am hearing nice really nice things about Tank Me USA but they're in FL.
