Custom caddy, filter floss holder or intank media basket

So my question is do i really need two media baskets (custom caddy or intank) or could i possibly run a filter floss holder on one side and a media basket on the other. Also which is basket is better? People who have experience with them all info is appreciated .

I used to run an InTank media rack in the backside of my ole 2010 Red Sea 130.
Have no complaints to report or that media rack.
