Nice tank mate! Definitely a sweet equipment-list, and that controller board looks super neat!

Glad to see water in the tank, and I think the MP10 on the back is a good choice, you'll be able to create some great flow patterns :)

Thank you.

The main idea on putting the mp10 on the back was to have that side panel as another unrestricted viewing panel

Our new (used) tank is 30x30x15. I'm looking forward to watching yours grow! Your organization is impressive. The tank looks fantastic!

Weekend update!

Two weeks into cycle and getting some of that new tank ugly phase. I have been using Brightwell microbacter 7 as well, About 4 days using that.

Today was also the first day the algae reactor was filled, with Cheato and grape algae, so we will see how that does in the next months. The look, and cleanliness are great.

Thanks to @ joseserrano for helping me out with the algae.

First tank inhabitants added today. Two turbo snails and two conch. Going to watch them closely over the next week and start adding zoanthids following their success. Wife named the two turbo snails after turbos I have used in the past, Garret and FP.

I have always had a soft spot for shallow tanks. Stunning tank and setup. Hoping to see some flowing corals in it soon

Thank you very much. We are looking forward to some zoa and a large white polyp toadstool as our next additions, most likely the only soft coral we will have. Then onto the LPS.

Weekend Update!
1. Changed the rock scape for what I swore is the last time.
2. Powered the skimmer up and immediately was in the vertex omega overflow period lol hopefully it breaks in and starts skimming dry as I like.
3. And the best update is our First fish! We added a beautiful purple tang with beautiful body markings. He is guarding the bottom left corner as you can see in the pictures.

Looking for some input from vertex omega owners. The skimmer is pulling out some real dark skin mate and needs cleaning every 3 days but daily looses the foam head completely. I have the pump volute two
Turns out and the pipe adjusted about a quarter turn in.
And even though it is collapsing daily there are times where it is foaming out of the lid holes.
