So I have a 125 dual overflow I am building. I got it used and dont trust the cheap stand. I'm going to build a metal stand, as I'm still in the thinking stage does anyone have ideas to implement or want to see in a metal stand?

I plan on adding plenty of supports and places to mount hangers for the plumbing.Besides support put bars and braces that can be used to route cables, plumbing, shelving etc.
I would love to go that route also. But I'm a welder/mechanic and have a full fab shop at my disposal so metal will be "extreamly cheap"I haven’t had the need yet, but I’ve been eying stuff to build a large tank. There are some really nice stands that I’ve seen framed out with t slot aluminum tubing. It’s relatively cheap, won’t rust, doesn’t require welding, crazy strong, light, and you can skin it however you want. When I go bigger I think that’s route I’m going.
Well in that case a welded square steel tubing frame with a powder coat is what I’d do.I would love to go that route also. But I'm a welder/mechanic and have a full fab shop at my disposal so metal will be "extreamly cheap"
Yes lol. I'm trying to think outside the box on this stand also. not only added supports and shelves.Well in that case a welded square steel tubing frame with a powder coat is what I’d do.
