Hey guys, just outta curiosity has anyone built a stand for this tank and had it set up peninsula style? If so, can you post pics? Thanks!!

I got a stand for different tank and added a top board to it. If you want to see it, I can post pictures later.

Sorry it took me so long to get these to you. It's been kinda crazy for me the last week.

Here's a couple views of the stand. I think it's the Aqueon 15-gallon tank stand. I took a 1/2 inch piece of plywood and had Home Depot cut it to fit the top. You'll notice that it doesn't take up the whole top. The are raised pieces of wood that help hold a 15-gallon in place (I thought about removing them, but I was afraid of damaging the stand). I measured the wood to fit in between those pieces. I gave the wood two coats of polyurethane to help it stand up to getting wet. I could've used a stain to match the wood color, but I didn't care enough. One the polyurethane was dry, I drilled four 1-1/4 inch screws into each side to hold it in place. There is an annoying little gap, as seen in one of these images, but I can live with it. It has worked out very well for the space I have. One long side is is visible from my desk and the other when you walk into my office. If you want more views let me know.

Gotcha. This stand won't work for that, unless you wanted to enclose it yourself. At that point, you might as well do a total DIY.

Good luck with the stand!

Thought so, I may have to go completely custom with this job then. I want it to be enclosed all the way around with a small opening in the back for wires and a door on one side for entry to underneath.
Update on the stand?
I need to find a good stand solution for my evo also.

Yes!! I actually purchased a Kallax Cubicle from Ikea.. bought a few doors and a couple baskets and well here it is ...

I made a few modifications with drilling 2in holes for the wires to travel thru the cubbies and into the power brick. Oh and this stand only cost me a total of $99!

Looks good mlivvy. I think I might go the custom route. I want a stand that is almost the same dimensions as the outside glass.
