Custom Sump builder

I'm tired of my elos sump. Worst design ever.

Wanted an elite aquatics sump but not sure when they'll be posting sumps again so looking to see who everyone else has used. If you guys can give me some recommendations i'd appreciate it.

Are you interested in making one? Here's my build thread, I used a 30G. Mocked the design up with cardboard, got acrylic panels from Tapp Plastics online, taped them into place, siliconed them in, and that was that. I scored the tank for free, but the acrylic cost me $100, silicone was $20? Much cheaper than buying a full acrylic/custom sump online.

have you looked at Synergy Reef Systems yet? i have a sump, ato res, and acclimation box from them, and couldnt be happier. the sump is great! quality build, great functions and nice design. check em out.

On my other tank I had an advanced acrylic sump. For personal reasons wont' go that route this time. I might jump on the 26" trigger emerald. I was looking at synergy, but 500$ for 22" sump shipped to my house.

Advanced Acrylics (John) does fantastic work. You can checkout his website. You may want to look into the PVC/Acrylic hybrid sumps. They look great. He is currently building one for my incoming Elos 160XL.
