Hi everyone,

Do you recommend any custom tank builders for a 6ft, 200g tank?

I'm considering quoting and compare to a RedSea XXL750. Currently have a RedSea and think is good quality at a great value. But I'm not convinced on the XXL sump set up, as I want to use Triton Method.

I already got a quote from Crystal Dynamic from San Diego, and I could get a custom 200g with stand, plumbing, and Triger Triton Sump for $600 more than the RedSea.

I think is also a good value, but I'm not convinced about being Eurobraced, and the rimless option is another $1k.

Your point of view is really appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Reef savvy is the best with custom builds but you will pay for it.

I just saw the BRS video, i submitted a request for quote. In the video they mentioned $3.5k for a similar tank. Do you think more?

i am having a 300gallon rimless built. 6' x 3' x 24" AGE came in with the best design and cost at $4400 delivered. i believe that the reef savy wait time is around 8 months right now.

If you want a big rimless you are going to pay and pay dearly

Thanks for sharing, it's $4.4 just for the tank? Or it includes sump, and stand?

I was guessing that i will need to spent more. Just want to make sure i made a good assessment.

Have you had a good experience with AGE?

I have 270g tank from Crystal Dynamics and am really pleased with it. I personally prefer eurobracing over a rimless tank. Have a rimless 50 cube and splash water out every time I do something in the tank.

Great to hear positive feedback on Crystal Dynamics.
