The builder stated “When strong silicone cures it creates air pockets totally normal nothing to worry about.”

I obviously didn’t look things over as closely as I should have before signing off and taking it home. Figured with the company’s good reputation and 25+ years of experience, I didn’t need to be worried about anything. Lesson learned.

First pic is a seem on one side of the tank and second pic is the one above the air pocket. Almost looks like they tried to patch it and apply more silicone.

That area above the messed up silicone is not even flush with the side from what I can see plus small bubbles. That is not a normal silicone job. Looks like someone touched it when it was wet, imo, or was trying to fill in an area like above it.

This gap and that panel hanging down is more of a concern than anything.. I’d guess upon a leak test the bottom panel pushed down and separated that silicone joint when it sat flush on the stand and or ground… with that being said it will flex down again and hopefully not come apart. It appears that panel is down about 1/8” I’d put a foam mat under it to relieve some stress before filling it up if you haven’t.. it looks like you got some wood and something else already?

Was this used or a return the took back and made a rough fix ?? Why is it so dirty with what looks like snail eggs all over it ?
Not used. Dust on the glass.

Must be optical illusion in pic. There is no gap. Manufacture used plywood on top of stand and then a sheet at homasote to help level it.
