found a single aipista on my leather coral plug last night. Quickly pulled the plug and cut the coral off tossed the plug.
Came home today and my leather is still shrunken. Not sure if from last nights trama or more aipista in the hole. Then spotted what looked like another aipista on my new candy cane coral which I’m guess is where the aipista came from. Should I cut the bad chunk off or toss the whole coral.
It’s my first reef tank and still new so I’m trying to keep pest out.

Use aptasia X. Don’t cut any coral anymore and don’t not throw away the coral because aptasia. Just dip all frags in the future to prevent any pest

I have been dipping since day one.
And I haven’t cut any coral yet. Just popped the leather off the plug.
Im willing to
Lose a few heads of a coral to prevent a head ache.
You inject apsasia x right?

You don't inject it. You feed it to the aptasia in a covering kind of way. Check YouTube. Some good vids

^You apply the aptasia x on the aptasia

So found several more in the tank. All relatively small.
Based out what I’ve seen from other threads before resorting to aphasia x is father on the list of steps to take. Or am I mistaken?
Thinking about a peppermint shrimp. Trying not to make drastic moves yet.
