Cut or keep

When I went to see my tank this part of my birdsnest was on top of a torch. The torch is fine but part of the birdsnest looks dead. Should I cut it of or leaving it be and see if it grows back

You can leave for now as as long as parameters are acceptable, it can get regrowth.
Are you sure its birdnest (purple) ? Looks like purple stylopora to me
