So I had to give my LFS The Reef Shoppe in Rochester, NY a shout out. Thanks Tom! I have a little 15 gallon column Nano tank with not much room in the sand for corals. I just picked up a nice Goniopora the other day and I was complaining to him that I really wanted a fungia but I don't have the room in my sand bed. He took me over to his show tank where he had 5 baby orange fungias! Pulled one out and sold it to me. It's the tiniest little guy I've ever seen! Love it and now I've got my fungia. Had it in the tank for less than 5 hours and I fed my fish their evening PE Mysis, noticed one of the pieces blew onto the fungia and it was chowing! Glad to see.

That is awesome. I have limited room on the sand and really want to find a smaller fungia, too. Orange is my preferred color. Thanks for sharing.

Aw, it's just a baby! Did he say where he got it?

How long will it take to get bigger? I've never done any research into them because I have a pico.

You can totally put one in a pico. Especially a small guy like that. Yes he did say where he got it. Someone gave him a rock and it had a little piece of fungia on it. It just kept shooting babies. He had like 6 of them. Said it took years though.
