Cute little guy. What is it?

Anybody know what this little guy is? He's pretty tiny, about 3.39mm in length. Looks like there is a hard shell around it. It appears fixed at one end and not free swimming.

It’s funny because you say “about”. This comes from a guy who has to measure things down to less than 1/1000 of a micron.

Yeah I kind of chuckled when I wrote the post. I just happened to have a digital caliper nearby when I made the measurement. Lol

So It has the general shape of a lipstick. The flat end appears to be attached by stringy stuff.

Looks like a tiger tail sea cucumber chopped in half. But if that's a hard shell, it's obviously not.
