I was wondering what do you use to cut up your coral? I know dremmels are quite popular, are there any that are better than others? I know some people use a wet saw, what kinds are out there?
Thanks

Easiest thing to frag is probably a moni cap I suppose. Reach in and snap a piece off. I've seen people frag acros with wire cutters. Anyone use a bandsaw?
I've read that a wet saw with tank water is the way to go as far as reducing stress and burning. Any truth to that?

the most popular band saw and the bandsaws i see at LFS and even at shows is the inland DB-100. the cheapest ive seen its been 249.99.

What is the best Dremmel to use? I know a diamond coated blade, but the best bang for the buck?

That would work, and I've sued one just like it many times, but the versatility of the Inland band saw is unmatched IME. You can literally cut single polyps of acans and not lose a single one if you want.

Do you use the dfs 100? Anyone used this model? What is the difference between it and the db 100?

I have both. Cordless dremel with diamond blade bit, as well as the inland diamond blade bandsaw. Since purchasing the bandsaw I rarely use my dremel anymore

i've thought about that, too, but saltwater and air tools = not a good mix...unless you know of something specific?
