Anyone suggest a more effective way to cut filter roll, Clarisea type rolls, I need to cut a 15cm wide roll into 5cm strips, I want to find a better way than cutting 60m rolls into 5cm strips with only a pair of scissors?

Bandsaw with the right blade? Can you make yourself a jig where the end of the roll sits against a “wall” and you have a slot at the 5cm mark so you can turn the roll and cut with a very sharp utility blade?

I was thinking along those lines, something similar to a cheese cutter but with it ha blade sticking out the board instead of cheese wire…I’m thinking the filter roll would be too soft to cut with anything but an extremely sharp blade in one go.

Like an old school paper slicer. Actually that might work well. I think you could rotate the roll to continue the cutting. I think as long as you keep the cut going in one direction youll be good
