Cutting Frag plugs and Corals

What is everyone using to cut the stems of the frag plugs so i can use just the round flat part of it? Also i have a frogspawn with a long stem i also want to cut down before placing it on the rocks. What is the best tool to cut that effectively?

I just grab the stem at the base with bone cutters and either cut or snap them off.
