I cut some using a masonry cutting blade mounted on my angle grinder.
I could only cut about 2" deep though, but by cutting on top and bottom I made it work. My rocks weren't that big.

If you had too, drill a series of holes and then chisel it apart.

I use 1/2" masonry bits to drill frag post holes in my rocks all the time.

Cool. I have all of those tools. I want to make my own foundation pieces, but I also like the idea of drilling holes for posts to assemble structures. I was thinking about getting a diamond blade for a regular bandsaw, but that got vetoed by bandsaw's owner due to safety concerns (her response was that she'd just buy an Aquasaw XL, but I thought that didn't make sense financially). Also thinking about a reciprocating saw.

Just an update to say that a diamond blade on a reciprocating saw worked well. (Angle grinder & hacksaw with diamond edges also worked). Key thing was to get the rock anchored appropriately, which for me meant building a support bridge through my vice and clamping it down for the rock to rest on while it was held in the vice. Other tips -- if you've got a variable speed saw, use the high speed. And don't spray down the rock: moisture + rock dust + heat from friction = glue.
