Anyone have any recommendation for the best method of cutting a chocolate chip starfish leg efficiently? Would like to use one leg vs throwing a whole starfish in for my Harlequins.

IMO it takes a lot more pressure to cut the limb than you might be able to get by using a plain razor blade. I'd use a sharp knife.

Was gonna try it with a utility knife. Is there anything I need to do after I cut? Besides rinsing it a lil bit?

I have 2, it's a large CC, prolly 3.5-4 inches wide. They worked on the first one for a few weeks last time. Was trying to limit the amount of decay that could happen.

Thats y I just give a leg u can tell when they are hungry mine comes out and dancing in a way. They are pretty cool.

Less then a week I usually get 2 starfish and switch. And doing this I save a few bucks. Almost enough time so when the new leg grows back it will be ready for lunch. And ill take yoga its pretty funny.

I also have a few tanks so I can do this. If u use your sump the smell of the star fish will still get to tank so that will not help. Ive tryed and the shrimp runs crazy and doesn't go after the leg u just put in there.
