So I just noticed my neon green toad. Has alage growing on the frag plug.
Looks like bubble??

So ibwant to remove the toad from the plug. Guessing I can take a razor blade a cut it yes?

Do I need iodine?
Should I gel it to a pice of rock rubble? Don't have frag plugs.

just cut the toadstool off the plug and re-glue where ever you want. throw plug away. Problem solved. The Toadstool will continue to grow after it has been cut and re-glued.

Glue might not stick. It might create a slime reaction and shed off the glue. Rubberband it to a rock u want it on. And in two weeks time it will attach naturally

toadstools cannot be glued they will slime right off. You could just take it out of the water and clean the plug really well. That algae is in your tank and not just specific to that single plug. It will keep popping up randomly until nutrients are in check better. There is also some hair algae.

As Frag City says. .. after cleaning the plug base i cover that spot with sand which will stiffle where the algae previously grew.
