Cutting the stem on leather coral??

Any one tried this and have tips for doing it?

Many times, just use the sharpest blade you can. I use a brand new single edge razor blade.

I've just taken stainless steel shears and snipped them off the rock. You can then use a gumband to attach them to another rock or frag plug, glue doesn't work as well IME

Just remember to use iodine to disinfect the cut. Softies can be more prone to infection otherwise
