I currently have around 100 dwarf cuttlefish eggs from my breeding pairs available. The eggs were laid a couple days so they have 3-4 weeks before they'll be hatching. Available for pickup in San Diego or shipped just about anwhere in the US.

For 1 or a couple eggs $10 an egg, lower prices for larger quantities. Say 1/2 dozen for $55, a dozen for $100. I'll have to check shipping prices since I haven't had to ship anything overnight in years, but I may be able to do $110 for 1/2 dozen shipped and $155 for a dozen shipped. I may run over to the fedex and bring a box and test a couple addresses to see what it would cost.

There's generally about a 20-30% loss throughout raising them to adults, it can be slightly higher depending on experience level. If you'd like to breed them I would recommond 6 eggs, since you'll probably lose 2, which will leave you with 4 and a good propability of getting both male and female.

I def want some...... Ill take 6 will they be free floating or still attached?

Interested in half dozen or dozen depending how how shipping works out. PM sent.

How large do the adult get. what the minimum size tank for them.

This is so cool...wish i had a species system for one!

What temperature are these required to have? Possibly interested in some shipped

On my tank the temperature ranges from 76-83. The highest it's reached is 86 during the hotter weeks of the year.

I'm testing the whole species only tank theory right now. I added some chromis and damsels to the tank with the cuttlefish. The only fish that disappeared were the blue-green chromis. There's 5 other types of damsels in the tank, and they all the other fish swim right by the cuttles. Funny enough the day I added the damsels, the largest one actually purposely pushed up against the cuttles over and over again to show dominance. It seems to depend on the intelligence, size and speed of the fish.

For some reason I'm having issues embedding the video

Well I'll only have eggs as long as they continue to breed. They started breeding at 3 months, a month earlier than usual, so I have a feeling around 8 months they'll start dieing off. That gives me another 2 or 3 months of eggs. After that I won't have anymore eggs until I raise the eggs I have and breed the offspring, which won't happen for 6-8 months. I had several weeks of tank temps reaching in the mid 80s so i think it has really accellerated their growth, as well as shortening their lifespan.

The first 2-3 months the cuttlefish should be housed in a fish breeder net in order to keep an eye on them and make sure they all eat, so you really don't have to make accomodations for them right away. I didn't setup their final tank until after they started hatching, and I didn't realease them into the tank until they were 3 months old.

The build I'm doing is going to be a large project in wall. So I may have to wait at least till your next batch. I am super stoked on this right now, so my motivation factor is way high!

Lots of eggs still looking for new homes! Last count I was quickly approaching 400 eggs laid total.

Hey. I've been looking for dwarfs for a long time now. I'm in poway, so if you have any left, could you pm e?
Thanks loads
