Cuvette Replacement timeframe

Quick question - I’m not sure I know the answer, so I’m asking :) .

Is there a recommended timeframe for replacing a cuvette to ensure optimal readings, even if it’s not damaged or scratched and you're following best practices?
 
I'm not sure there would be a reason to replace them based on time, just condition.
 
I’ve been keeping mine stored full of RO/DI water to keep them from any mineral buildups. I got that tip from a BRS video.

keep them clean and you should be able to use long term. I clean mine with q-tip and alcohol, then rinsed with RO
