CW's 300

All livestock transferred last night. I'll probably set about making it look better tonight. So far all coral have shown no sighs of being upset. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Think I locked down a scape I like... That might change over the next few weeks though.

Also, got some help pulling my 150DD out into the garage. When I sprayed the hose into the overflow, two peppermint shrimp and a lightning maroon clown fell out. Pretty excited! Thought I lost everything to velvet a few months ago.

Wow! That's quite the list! Keep us posted on how they do.

Thanks! They're mostly all babies at this point, but are doing great so far. All are eating well, showing no signs of illness and getting along. I've narrowed down my fish purchases to only three stores, all local and all with a significant QT process.

Hopefully I can get some pictures of all the inhabitants tonight.

Been a little while, everything seems to be going well so far!

Still need to get the lights mounted, skin the stand and tweak the overflows to be quieter.

Some new additions,

5 Bandai cardinals
1 no color goat fish
1 regal angel

Another yellow tang on friday (going for a trio to prevent fighting)

Going to try to glue a bunch of these vermitid snails closed this weekend. I've tried it before with limited success, anyone have a better/easier method?

I heard coral snow kills them haven't gotten around to trying it but no I haven't heard of an easier way that is known to work

Thanks, I'll research it a bit and see what I can work out.

Quick update, my "little" helper (4 months old) just assisted in getting an afternoon snack going for the tank. Funny how fast they recognize the guy with the food.

Well I guess I came to the show late starter in your thread and wish I'd been able to tell you before you put anything in the tape tank that you could've took the whole top section off and then welded in some new racing to make the top open do you have more light to water directly contact anyone I have those four little holes in the top but I think at this point you're going to sit with the way it is not that it's a big problem but Get more air to the top of the water would be nice but it looks great so far man so keep up the good work
