.Cyano and Dino?

Hi all,

Can you help me ID the round cells around the strands of cyano? I am pretty sure it is some kind of dino, but not 100%.
Any help is appreciated.

They look like unarmoured dinoflagellates to me.

Interesting. I am not familiar with the life cycle. Is there a particular reason why are they unarmored? Should they be easier to control because of that?

I'm not sure their life cycle differs from other species of dino, so a similar approach would be required to eradicating them.
