'Lo all.

I get small patches of Cyano during the day that go away during the night. Obviously the lighting has something to do with it.
Any thoughts? Should I be concerned?

Tank is about 6 to 7 months old. All rock was washed and re-used (could be leaking phosphates) ?

Parameters: Haven't checked recently - I know, I am a bad reefer.

Tank:
120G Mixed Reef
3 x HYDRA 52s
LifeReef Skimmer
ReefAngel Controller

just check em. its cool. most just eyeball the corals. its good to know when you have probs and track the tanks progress.
and cyano is photosynthetic so it'll build up while the lights are on. normal

Are you sure it's Cyanobacteria and not something else? At 6 to 7 months though what your seeing is actually quite normal IMO. The link below might help.

Positive it is Cyano - red, blows off with a turkey baster, etc..
I am not overly concerned because as I said, it is just a few spots and it disappears at night.
