I just setup a frag tank that is tied in with my main display
via a common sump, and the main display has tons of flow.

My frag tank however does not have near the flow.

I'm using two Maxi-Jet 600s because anything more
and the frags were getting blown all over.

But now I have Cyano in my frag tank.

What do others do about this?

Thank you

your bio load increased and with the changes your tank is going through it's giving a source of fuel for the Cyano to grow. I just went through this with my 220 gal frag tank.

I used the MB7 micro bacter 7 from brightwell. I used Vodka for the carbon source it is cheaper. I watched it go away in like 2 to 7 days. just make sure that you turn off your skimmer off for 24 h or it will go crazy

Actually I think it was just that I had too low of
flow since the frags were getting blown around.

I'll keep the Vodka in mind, if it comes back.

Thank you
