looks like I might be getting Cyano in the fuge, should I be concerned or is this normal ?
I don’t want that to end up in my tank

How new is your tank? Can you give us your testing numbers (no3, po4)? How long do you run the fuge light?

You may need to add a little more flow in the sump. Normally it collects where the low flow areas are in the system or sump. Just placing a small power head in the sump should help get rid of it.

^ Agreed. I had the same problem. I added a small power head and it helped a lot. I also noticed much better growth from my chaeto.

Po4 looks very high. Are you sure it isn’t test error? What test are you using?
I use a Hanna tester

So I had a third currant wave pump that I decided to take from the tank and add to the fuge, it doesn’t work really well as I had it on the bottom of the tank for low flow. Hopefully it will create enough flow to get rid of the Cyano. On a second note while fishing I picked up some more Macroalgae hopefully it will continue to help me reduce my nitrates to where I want
