Cyano In Refugium

Hi all.

I am starting my second attempt at chaeto in my refugium. Last time I had a cyano outbreak. What are the best ways to prevent cyano from happening in a refugium with chaeto? Thank you in advance.

More flow. Less feeding. Can add a wave maker down there if need be. I stir everything up with a turkey baster a couple times a week because I have no room for a wave maker

The cyanobacteria may be associated with dying Chaeto. If true, your question then becomes how do I keep the alga alive.
