Hello all
My tank is 8 weeks old and I am having an issue with cyano. 100 gallon
Parameters are
Salt 34.8
ORP 380
PH 7.8
Alk 8.03
Cal 383
Mag 1389
Nitrate 8
Phosphate 0.07
Did a 10% water change this week and seems to have made it worse
I am using Microbacter7
What else an I do

I would try increasing flow as a general aid to help prevent it from building up.

I think the best thing would be to just remove as much as you can manually and then using some chemiclean or similar product. Chemiclean wipes it out

Thank you

I’m battling some cyano right now (mostly gone) I changed my RODI filters and dose microbacter while watching my nutriets to make sure they don’t crash. I was getting in both my reef quarantine and display so I new it had to be water related. I would not dose chemi clean unless it’s out of control.

It not out of control but getting worse I have attached a video

Your tank is young. I bet your tank will go through various ugly stages. Siphon it out. It will likely eventually go away. As mentioned above, more flow often helps some.
