I’ve been trying to deal with a terrible cyano bloom for the past few months, and I’m not sure what to do. I did a spin test at my lfs and the results came out like this.

Ph: 8
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate 2
Alk: 6.9 (in process of dosing)
Calcium: 393
Magnesium: 1343
Phosphate: 0.1

The lfs said that my cyano problem was most likely due to a nutrient imbalance in the tank. Does that sound right to you all? I am currently running carbon and phosphogen and have one clownfish in the tank. How should I go about increasing the nitrates?
