Hello, i have cyano on the rocks only, the cyano has never touched the salt.

Should i get rid of it? I heard is consuming Phosphates, so my Phos right now are undetectable unless i move the salt. Probably because of that...

Thanks!

I think there are many causes to cyano. One of which can be nutrient imbalance.

I recently had a small battle with it. I got rid of it by dosing bacteria and bringing po4 up while lowering no3

If it's on your rocks it can start to grow on and around your coral

i will use Chemiclean i will post what happens after this!

Thanks

Did you have hair algae on the rock before that slowly died and replaced with cyano?
