Cyano or coralline?

I got these on my rocks - don't know if I have to take care of it or leave it.

Can you brush it off either with your hand or by blasting it with water? If not its coraline. But it doesn't look like coraline from your pictures. I may be wrong.
 
Your tank appears to be very new.

Like crabs said, if it blows off, it’s not coralline.

FYI coralline typically will begin to appear as spots, then expand. Look below the starfish for an example.

Usually begins to appear 3-6 months after start up.

I just did a re-aquascaping due to an algae outbreak while I was on vacation for 1 month.

I did the test suggested by crabs - looks like it's coralline.


Awesome! Your sand and frags looked so clean I thought it was new!

When my coralline start to look like that, it’s time for me to add an urchin!
